Kitsch'n Lights

Inspired by ancient lanterns and the perforations found in common restaurant utensils—namely colanders and pizza screens—Kitsch'n Lights makes use of such ready-made forms to create an immersive and sculptural light installation. At once decorative and functional, Kitsch'n Lights highlights the intricate beauty of its perforated forms in contrast to the utilitarian purpose of its source materials.
